INTRODUCTION The client operates 17 NHS sites across the South East of England as part of a long-term contract.  The estate includes a birthing suite, GP surgeries and other care facilities. THE CHALLENGE The client was self-delivering planned and reactive maintenance services across the estate and did not know if the service was value for money  SEE were providing additional resource capacity to the client for the delivery of planned and reactive tasks The client sought a partner to review the delivery model to determine what benefits a fully outsourced delivery model could offer. SEE SOLUTION   SEE extensively scoped the works and were able to demonstrate that we could offer far greater efficiencies and improved value for money.    Solution highlights include:  Dedicated contract team including TUPE transfer of 9 staff  Immediate review and update of PPM scheduling to ensure all tasks were up-to-date  Review of all reactive tasks and delivery of outstanding open tasks and remedials Improved delivery model, enhancing service delivery and delivering commercial cost savings Integrated use of the clients CAFM system (Concept) to manage and update tasks and certification Provision of site induction and escorting for third party suppliers  Engagement with client lifecycle team to manage obsolescence replacements including LED lighting and BMS upgrades  Close working relationships with client Regional Operations Managers responsible for buildings  Enhanced PPM and ways of working, including testing and PPE during COVID.
