Modern Slavery Policy
Modern Slavery is the illegal exploitation of people for personal or commercial gain. Victims are trapped in servitude, which they were deceived or coerced into, and feel they cannot leave. It includes human trafficking.
SEE Services Ltd is committed to ensuring that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within our own business or within any of our supply chains.
Our recruitment processes are transparent and reviewed regularly. We communicate directly with candidates to discuss job opportunities and to confirm the details of any offer made. We have robust procedures in place for the vetting of new employees and ensure that we can confirm their identities and eligibility to work in the UK prior to employment.
SEE Services Ltd expect that our supply chain adheres to our high expectations in respect of their workforce and their own suppliers. Our supply chain is subject to our evaluation questionnaire and approval process prior to contract award. This requires our supply chain to demonstrate the steps taken to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place in any part of their business.
The resulting documentation is reviewed by both our finance and SHEQ departments for compliance. We will only engage in business with approved suppliers. An annual review of supplier documentation is also completed as part of our on-going supply chain management process.
This Anti-Slavery and Human Trafficking Policy is approved by the Board of Directors and is available from our offices. Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further information regarding this policy.
