Insight November: SEE-V launch new EV Charging Platform and App

This month SEE-V announced the launch of a cutting-edge EV Charging Platform and app, designed to boost the efficiency of electric vehicle charging networks. We met with Jeff Alden to find out more about the app, and what it means for drivers and operators.

Tell us about the SEE-V app, what is it for?

Our new mobile app has been launched to make EV charging accessible and efficient for everyone. By integrating real-time data and user-friendly features, we are improving the charging experience and helping organisations achieve their sustainability goals faster.

What does the SEE-V app mean for Drivers?

Drivers benefit from a user-friendly app that helps them easily locate charging stations, manage their charging sessions, and process payments. The platform also offers 24/7 customer support to provide prompt assistance, ensuring a seamless and hassle-free experience.

What does the SEE-V app mean for Operators?

For operators, SEE-V’s platform offers advanced features such as real-time monitoring and remote maintenance to quickly resolve issues and guarantee 99% uptime. Dynamic load balancing helps optimize power distribution, enabling the addition of more chargers per location for improved efficiency. The platform also supports revenue-enhancing tools, including custom tariffs, time-based charging, and detailed usage and income reporting. Operators can automate billing, manage reimbursements for home charging, and control station access with ease.

SEE-V's Charge Point Management (CPM) and Charge Point Operator (CPO) solutions deliver comprehensive end-to-end support, from feasibility studies to seamless implementation, regardless of whether customers operate a single charging point or manage hundreds. This is backed by a team of expert technical partners, ensuring customers work with trusted, knowledgeable professionals.

What else do users need to know?

SEE-V is committed to supporting the transition to net-zero with efficient, smart charging solutions tailored to the needs of both operators and drivers.  For that reason the app has been built using the latest Open Charge Point Protocol (OCPP) standards, meaning the platform is future-proof, with seamless integration through its API to accommodate future upgrades and industry changes.
